How to read the ranking

The order is an editorial guide to documented features, use cases and controls. FitRecover has not conducted its own laboratory or comparative overnight testing. This is not a measured comfort or effectiveness ranking. Commission does not determine the order.

All ten models have sleep-focused in-ear designs. The selection includes true wireless earbuds, a neckband model and wired earphones; each connection is identified. Sources are manufacturer documents and product information on the linked Amazon Germany pages. Supplier claims are not independent measurements.

All ten models in detail

Start with the use case

A half-hour audiobook needs a different runtime from background audio all night. A shutoff timer can be useful: check whether it stops the music or powers the earbuds off completely.

The ten places cover different designs. More features do not automatically mean greater comfort, and an app is not a benefit for everyone. Start with the function you actually need.

#10Flat earpieces without a case

Hmusic WE01A USB-C

USB-C · 1.2 m cable · passive isolation

For another wired silicone shape to try.

WE01A combines flat silicone earpieces with a 1.2-metre cable and three-button remote. Its advertised attenuation figure describes a particular laboratory test rather than equal reduction at every frequency. There is no separate battery, but USB-C audio compatibility is required.

Benefits

  • No separate battery
  • Cable buttons and microphone

Limitations

  • Cable when turning
  • Attenuation claim is not universal

Practical tip: Choose by fit and connection rather than a single advertised decibel number.

Hearprotek SE03T USB-C
Product image of the linked version.
#09USB-C with cable controls

Hearprotek SE03T USB-C

USB-C · DAC · three buttons · no separate battery

For compatible phones without a headphone socket.

The listed SE03T version uses USB-C and an integrated digital-to-analogue converter. Three buttons control audio and calls. It has no separate battery: the host supplies sound and power. A matching USB-C plug alone does not guarantee compatibility. This one-pair listing is different from the older SE01T two-pack.

Benefits

  • No separate battery
  • Three cable buttons

Limitations

  • Check compatibility
  • Cable during movement

Practical tip: Match the exact model and connector to your phone.

Cable, neckband and true wireless

Wired models have no separate earphone battery, but their cables can pull against a pillow or clothing. A Bluetooth neckband combines longer runtime with connected earpieces. True wireless removes those cables and requires a charging case.

The wired models use either 3.5 mm or USB-C; these are not interchangeable. USB-C must support audio with your exact phone. Try the shape in your usual sleeping position.

#08A cable instead of a charging case

Hearprotek DreamMusic Basic SE04

3.5 mm plug · no separate battery · passive isolation

For music or audiobooks from a compatible headphone socket.

SE04 is a wired sleep earphone with soft earpieces. It has no separate battery to charge: power and audio come from the connected device, whose battery life still matters. A two-pack is a package quantity rather than a second model generation. Active noise cancellation is not documented.

Benefits

  • No separate battery to charge
  • Small, soft earpieces
  • Two earphones in the described set

Limitations

  • Cable can interfere with movement
  • Needs a 3.5 mm socket or suitable adapter

Practical tip: A USB-C adapter must support audio; a physically fitting plug is not enough.

MONODEAL Sleepbuds Bluetooth 5.4

#07Soft shape for short sessions

MONODEAL Sleepbuds Bluetooth 5.4

Bluetooth 5.4 · up to 5 h · explicitly no ANC

For timed music when a short single-charge runtime is enough.

These Sleepbuds are explicitly sold without active noise cancellation. Soft silicone and the seal provide passive isolation. Their five-hour single-charge figure is separate from twenty hours including the case. This suits falling-asleep audio better than eight uninterrupted hours.

Benefits

  • Soft silicone shape
  • Bluetooth for your own content

Limitations

  • Only up to five hours per charge
  • No ANC

Practical tip: A short audio timer may suit this model better than playback until morning.

Compare one charge, not the case total

The runtime before recharging determines uninterrupted listening. Five hours in the earbuds plus several case charges does not become twenty continuous hours in your ears.

ANC changes power use and runtime. ANSTEN HE029’s one-hour sleep-mode shutoff is also separate from its general battery duration. Compare the mode you actually intend to use.

ANSTEN HE029
Product image of the linked version.
#06Falling asleep with a timer

ANSTEN HE029

Bluetooth 5.4 · about 6 h · 1 h sleep-mode shutoff

For a limited sound session while falling asleep.

HE029 provides normal Bluetooth use and sleep mode. The supplier says sleep mode turns off after one hour; six-hour single-charge playback therefore does not mean six hours in that mode. Its 48-hour case figure includes recharges. Passive isolation is not automatically ANC.

Benefits

  • Time-limited sleep mode
  • Bluetooth in normal mode

Limitations

  • Sleep mode stops during the night
  • About six hours per charge

Practical tip: Decide whether the automatic one-hour shutoff suits your routine.

MONODEAL anc032

#05Another ANC option

MONODEAL anc032

Bluetooth 5.4 · supplier-stated ANC · about 6–8 h

For another compact audio option with switchable ANC.

The listing describes manually enabled ANC. Its advertised six-to-eight-hour runtime is not clearly assigned to an ANC setting, so it does not promise a full night with cancellation on. FitRecover has not independently verified the adaptive snore-cancellation claim.

Benefits

  • Switchable ANC in the listing
  • Cable-free earpieces

Limitations

  • No separate ANC runtime
  • Snoring claim lacks independent verification

Practical tip: Assess your actual noise environment rather than expecting complete snoring removal.

ANC, passive isolation and ENC

Passive isolation comes from a seal. ANC electronically counters parts of environmental sound. Masking adds audio so disturbances stand out less. Call ENC may instead improve microphone transmission; it does not establish an in-ear quietening function.

A product title saying “noise cancelling” is therefore insufficient for comparison. Nor does one decibel figure under particular laboratory conditions promise equal attenuation of every night-time sound.

Hmusic HS88
Product image of the linked version.
#04Bluetooth with a neckband

Hmusic HS88

Bluetooth 5.4 · claimed 12+ h · passive isolation

For long audio sessions when completely cable-free earpieces matter less.

HS88 connects flat silicone earpieces to a neckband. Its physical controls sit outside the ears. The supplier quotes 12+ hours per charge. Advertised isolation does not demonstrate active noise cancellation.

Benefits

  • Long stated single-charge runtime
  • Controls outside the ears

Limitations

  • Cable and neckband when turning
  • No demonstrated ANC performance

Practical tip: Lie on your pillow and check whether the neckband catches on clothing.

VOTAZIB L6
Product image of the linked version.
#03Built-in sleep sounds

VOTAZIB L6

Bluetooth 5.4 · local sounds · claimed over 8 h

For bedtime streaming and sleep sounds without an extra app.

L6 has two sleep modes. Normal sleep mode allows phone audio with restricted touch controls; deep sleep mode plays built-in sounds instead of your phone’s music. The stated single-charge runtime of over eight hours is not independently measured. Call ENC does not establish in-ear ANC.

Benefits

  • Local sleep sounds
  • Sleep-mode touch lock

Limitations

  • No own music in deep sleep mode
  • No demonstrated ANC advantage

Practical tip: Practise switching modes first. “Deep sleep mode” names a feature, not a measured sleep outcome.

Check comfort and keep audio quiet

Try suitable tip sizes in both ears on your usual pillow. An earbud may fit sitting up but press when you lie on your side. Check whether pillow contact triggers controls and whether the desired timer works.

Start with quiet, time-limited playback. Make sure necessary environmental signals remain reliably noticeable. Clean tips as instructed and allow damp earpieces to dry before charging.

Ozlo Sleepbuds 2
Product image of the linked version.
#02Sleep audio without ANC

Ozlo Sleepbuds 2

Up to 14 h playback · Bluetooth · passive isolation + masking

For people who value a small sleep-focused design and their choice of audio.

The second Ozlo generation uses passive isolation and masking sounds, without ANC. The manufacturer quotes up to 14 hours of playback, around 1.6 grams per bud without its silicone tip, and four tip sizes. You can stream music or podcasts over Bluetooth and switch to masking sounds after falling asleep. The Smart Case is part of the connection and reporting system. Do not confuse this generation with older ten-hour listings.

Benefits

  • Very small sleep-focused shape
  • Bluetooth and stored sleep sounds
  • Personal in-ear alarm

Limitations

  • No active noise cancellation
  • App and Smart Case are part of the system

Practical tip: For streaming, Ozlo recommends keeping the case within about three metres and the phone within nine metres.

soundcore Sleep A30
Product image of the linked version.
#01Audio and active noise cancellation

soundcore Sleep A30

ANC + masking audio · Bluetooth · runtime depends on model and mode

For a mixture of steady low-frequency hum and changing night-time sounds.

Sleep A30 combines a sealing fit, active noise cancellation and audio that masks unwanted sounds. The manufacturer makes an explicit distinction: snoring is covered by masking audio, while ANC mainly targets low-frequency noise. This makes it a versatile electronic option. Published runtimes vary by mode, from about six hours with Bluetooth and ANC in demanding conditions to up to 16 hours with local audio and ANC off. The often quoted nine hours does not apply to every setting.

Benefits

  • ANC alongside passive isolation
  • Bluetooth playback of your own content
  • Audio and alarm options in the app

Limitations

  • Runtime depends heavily on ANC and audio mode
  • Needs charging and setup

Practical tip: Choose between continuous Bluetooth playback and local sleep sounds before comparing runtime figures.

Which technology fits your night?

Sleep A30 is a versatile starting point for audio and ANC. Ozlo Sleepbuds 2 focuses on sleep sounds and a small shape without ANC. VOTAZIB L6 adds two audio modes, while Hmusic HS88 provides a neckband with a longer stated single-charge runtime.

For shorter listening sessions, consider ANSTEN HE029 or MONODEAL Sleepbuds with a timer. The wired Hearprotek and Hmusic models need no separate charged battery. A compatible connection, sufficient runtime in your chosen mode and comfort on your own pillow remain decisive.

Frequently asked questions

Which models have ANC?

Sleep A30 combines ANC and audio masking. The MONODEAL anc032 listing also describes switchable ANC, whose performance has not been independently measured here. The other models are not presented as demonstrated ANC recommendations.

Can I play my own podcasts?

Bluetooth audio models play from a compatible device; wired models require the correct audio connection. VOTAZIB L6’s deep sleep mode uses built-in sounds instead of phone music.

Will every model last eight hours?

No. ANSTEN quotes about six hours and the non-ANC MONODEAL Sleepbuds up to five. Other runtimes depend on mode. Case totals represent several charges.

How do the two Hearprotek models differ?

SE04 uses a 3.5 mm plug. The linked SE03T version is a one-pair USB-C listing with a DAC and three-button controls. Choose by connection and controls.

Do I need audio all night?

That is a personal choice. A short, quiet session may be enough to fall asleep. Longer technical runtime is not a recommendation for continuous listening.
